Exceller Software Corp. was founded at Cornell Research Park in Ithaca NY, in 1990. We specialize in the development and publishing of instructional software that benefits ESL learners. We are happy to announce our new and improved software products for the global ESL community.
Some of you may know us from our previous development and marketing of the Focus on Grammar CD-ROM series of Software for ESL. Yes, we are the original software developers and joint owners of the Focus on Grammar CD-ROM Software 1996-2007. However, as of May 2011 we “sold” our Copyrights and ownership rights to Pearson Education Inc., who now exclusively own it.
Secured a Co-Development contract with IBM’s Education Division, for a Keyboard Mapper for creating text in West European languages on IBM PC’s. IBM bundled this software with the PC’s sold to the Education markets in the USA and Europe.
Co-marketing agreement with Apple Computer Inc. Apple’s Education Division bundled Exceller’s Foreign language bilingual Dictionaries, in Spanish, French, German, and Italian, with all of their Macintosh computers, sold in the K-12 and College markets in the USA and Canada.
Joint Development and Joint Marketing agreement with Pearson Education, Inc. to develop the FOCUS ON GRAMMAR Series of ESL Instructional Software for the Education Markets Worldwide, including the K-12, and Higher Education, ESL markets in the USA.
Developed “Longman Preparation Course for TOEFL CBT” as a Joint Development agreement with Pearson Education Inc.
Sold Ownership/Selling rights of Focus on Grammar-Software for ESL, to Pearson Education Inc.
Developed English Tutor – An Online Web based ESL Instructional Software program to teach English as Second language to world markets. This is suitable for both the Institutional School/Education markets, and also individual student learners.
Developed Apps for ESL learning of Skills – Reading Comprehension, Pronunciation Practice-namely Dialogues, and Vocabulary Acquisition. Currently available on iTunes.
